White Wine by Red Truck Winery from California. Vineyards: The Sauvignon Blanc, which is from Lake County, contributes the gooseberry character. The Santa Barbara Chardonnay is grown in rich soil with cooling breezes that allow it to retain its acid and develop a lovely citrus character. The Pinot Grigio and Viognier vineyards are planted in the sunny Central Coast creating delicious melon and herb notes. Tasting Notes: This bright, fresh wine exhibits grapefruit, gooseberry, and orange flavors. No oak or malolactic fermentation was used in this blend. White truck rides well with spicy foods or is a delightful treat all by itself.
